Crossover Video! Dr Flavor Flip Flop Chicken and Veg!

Crazy crossover channel time! I had the opportunity to visit my good friend, Dr. Flavor at his home this past week. While there, we made a joint video featuring flip flop chicken with grilled mixed vegetables. It was yummy!
For those that come to this channel for low carb recipes, my apologies. This is NOT a low carb dish. It's a moderate carb meal. There's no bread or pasta. But, the meal includes a tablespoon or so of cornstarch, some Mike's Hot Honey, and some balsamic vinegar. I don't have carb counts, but this is a compromise for me that works OK for me. I'm fortunate to not have gluten issues or to be super sensitive to carbs. I will be adjusting my intake now that I'm back from visiting. :D
The rub:
~ 1 tablespoon Complete Seasoning (Badia)
~ 1 tablespoon cayenne
~ 1 tablespoon garlic salt
~ 1 teaspoon of ground bay leaves
~ 3 tablespoons of allulose
~ 1 tablespoon cumin
~ 1 tablespoon white pepper
Mix rub, then dust chicken thighs until completely covered.
Glaze:
One stick of butter, melted
~ 3 tablespoons of Mike's Hot Honey
Veg:
2 peppers, rough cut into bite sized pieces
~ 1 lb of mushrooms, sliced
2 onions, sliced
4 zucchini, rough cut into bite sized pieces
Add some of the above rub and toss in some balsamic vingear and some olive oil to coat.
Add rub to 10 bone in, skin on chicken thighs with some olive oil. Coat thoroughly and evenly. Place in grill grate and cook until you reach an internal temperature of ~ 185 degrees.
About 2 minutes before being completely done, glaze with hot honey and butter mix.
Veg: toss in a grill wok over high heat and cook until tender-crisp.
That's the meal! It's tasty, fairly quick to make, and doesn't cause a huge carb hit. Very nice change of pace for me and wonderful to be able to enjoy with my good friend, Dr. Flavor!
