Falkenjagd Hoplit RSR TITAN Mountainbike - Das Bike für Adventure und Wettkampf

Das Hoplit RSR ist sowohl Adventure Bike als auch Wettkampf-Bike der Hoplit-Familie, es schließt die Lücke zwischen Wettkampf- und CC-Maschine auf der einen Seite, und Adventure Bike mit Alpencross-Genen auf der anderen Seite: Mit bis zu 60 mm Reifenbreite, einem asymmetrischen Hinterbau und einer längeren Geometrie ist es gerne auch im raueren Gelände unterwegs - kann aber trotzdem etliches an Gepäck schleppen.

Sehr kurze Kettenstreben machen aus dem Hoplit RSR MTB ein Bike, das sich auch auf engen Singletrails bestens präsentiert. Man sitzt relativ kompakt und ohne große Überhöhung auf dem Rad, hat dabei einen guten Überblick. Die Sitzposition ist durch den 74 Grad Sitzwinkel etwas nach vorne orientiert, was viel Druck aufs Vorderrad bringt und das Fahrgefühl verbessert. Das ist vor allem im Gelände von Vorteil, wenn man flink durch verwinkelte Passagen zirkelt. Der Hinterbau ist wie beim Hoplit RS asymmetrisch, die Kettenstrebe ist auf der Antriebsseite nach unten gezogen, um den Abstand zur Kette zu vergrößern. Damit wird das Risiko verringert, dass die Kette im Gelände auf die Strebe schlägt und das Titan verkratzt. Trotzdem verlaufen alle Kabel innen. Neu am Rahmen des Hoplit RSR MTB ist, dass die Sattelstreben direkt ins Oberrohr übergehen, mit einem 3D-gedruckten „Knoten“, der um das Sitzrohr verläuft. Die Sattelstreben sind durch keinen Steg verbunden, was die Elastizität des Hinterbaus und damit den Komfort verbessert.

Das 3D-gedruckte Steuerrohr geht mit sogenannten Sicken in Ober- und Unterrohr über, für mehr Stabilität und hole Lenkpräzision. Der flachere Lenkwinkel von 69 Grad bringt dagegen Fahr-Stabilität bei hohen Abfahrtsgeschwindigkeiten. Der Rahmen ist für Federgabelweg von 100mm-120mm ausgelegt.


The Hoplit RSR is both an adventure bike and a race bike within the Hoplit family. It bridges the gap between a competitive XC machine on one side and an adventure bike with Alpine-cross DNA on the other. With tire clearance of up to 60 mm, an asymmetric rear triangle, and a longer geometry, it’s perfectly at home in rough terrain—yet still capable of carrying a good amount of gear.

Very short chainstays make the Hoplit RSR MTB a bike that performs exceptionally well on tight singletrack. The rider sits in a relatively compact, upright position without excessive saddle-to-bar drop, offering excellent visibility and control. The 74-degree seat angle shifts the rider slightly forward, placing more weight on the front wheel, which improves handling—particularly useful when navigating tight, technical sections. Like the Hoplit RS, the rear triangle is asymmetric; the chainstay on the drive side is dropped to increase clearance from the chain. This reduces the risk of chain slap in rough terrain, protecting the titanium frame from scratches. Despite the robust construction, all cables are internally routed.

A new feature of the Hoplit RSR MTB frame is the seat stays, which flow directly into the top tube via a 3D-printed “node” that wraps around the seat tube. The seat stays are not connected by a bridge, enhancing rear-end compliance and rider comfort.

The 3D-printed head tube transitions into the top and down tubes with embossed “beads” for added stability and precise steering. The slacker 69-degree head angle contributes to greater stability at high downhill speeds. The frame is designed to accommodate suspension forks with 100–120 mm of travel.
