Join me as I guide my client’s to beautiful Lady Musgrave Island, on the Great Barrier Reef, onboard their brand new Riviera 585 SUV. What an impressive rocket ship, where her most economical cruise speed is 27 knots! We leave the Riviera manufacturing plant at Coomera, hugging the coastline to avoid the worst of a 25/30 knots SSW’r, crossing the Wide Bay Bar and up the Great Sandy Straits behind K’gari (Fraser Island) on day one. We then collect some of the owner’s adult children and grandchildren who have flown into Hervey Bay to join us, as we continue our passage to Lady Musgrave Island to snorkel, fish and explore the island. We encounter some magical weather and so many humpback whales, particularly on the exciting run home again down the ocean beach of K’gari!
