Okay it's been a bit and I'm rusty but hey. My channel is about providing honest opinion only of things that I buy and share with you. I keep saying FPVCycle Prototype, when it's the Fouride 4" Quadcopter frame.

Who says LR 1404 Builds should be the choice for Long Range. IMO, I think light builds for long range...especially in Mexico where I live...You get tossed around like a leaf. This build defies most of what the sellers say and is a 4" 556-620gr AUW drone depending on the battery of choice. It will outperform a light 1404 motor with a regular size action camera like the DJI action 2. Try that feet with a light 1404 build.

Anyway, Test flight was a success and average speeds were 44mph up to 60mph+. It flew near 7minutes plus hauling tail up a mountain, two huge power loops and multiple split S dives. I did not let off the throttle much. The longer reinforced UFL antenna really provided excellent coverage an no breakup.

I have flown many lightweight 4" quads with 1404 motors and they did not handle as well as this heavy setup and with bi-blades. Choose a bigger motor with Higher KV and you will be MUCH happier with the performance.

The secret sauce to long range is the battery, not the motors or kv. Most LI-ion packs will provide you with enough juice to go out and back 2 miles easy on ANY setup. You need to ask yourself, if you really need to go further than that to get epic mountain surfing shots. My opinion only.

Seriously, I'm a guy who buys the latest and greatest far too often, but there really has not been any great innovations since FAA regulations. Most if not all long range drones are doing the same ole thing. But I'm hear to tell you, you don't need the latest and greatest all of the time.
