Nature journaling is a fun and relaxing way to acquaint yourself with the outdoors. Follow along with Jobi and Erika as they discuss and draw the belted kingfisher.
Our focus today on the kingfisher is, in part, a celebration of the Ward World Championship's youth silhouette - which will be a kingfisher for the 2023 competition!
Interested in more nature journaling? The Ward Museum hosts a Nature Journaling Club every 3rd Thursday of the month! This free-to-attend club is designed for anyone who loves the outdoors. It's a great opportunity for you to enjoy your beautiful surroundings while you sketch and write in your nature journal.
Helpful tips and tricks on nature journaling and environmental observation will be provided at the beginning of the meeting. Ward educators will help guide you to get started, then you will have time to explore, and discover nature for yourself.
