Every year, Let's Bollywood Dance School of Brisbane creates a special Competition batch, through an Audition process. This batch then trains in Term 2 and performs at various local dance competitions in Term 3 and 4!
Our 2023 Intermediate Competition batch performed our proudest choreography till date, on Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. This dance was performed at 3 different competitions, namely the Brisbane Performing Arts Challenge (BPAC), Gold Coast Eisteddfod and Australia's Great Dancers with Geeta Kapoor and won great prizes and accolades!!!
This dance is based on the Gujarati Folk dance, Garba and Dandiya and is a celebration of art and culture. Our biggest achievement was the compliments from judges about how excited they felt to see so much energy and happiness on stage :)

We fuse together classical and folk Indian dance styles with contemporary Bollywood movements to create a fun and thrilling environment.
