Sung soulfully by Manali Bose, the composition weaves together the sounds of nature—the frog, the papiha, the koel—as symbols of longing. Lightning frightens, thunder roars, and each raindrop stirs memories of the beloved. A marvellous and heartfelt creation by Ustad Bade Inayat Hussain Khan of Gwalior gharana, brought alive with subtlety and feeling.
