This is a real Super Bee born a 383 with Ram Charger. Upgraded with a NASCAR 426 Hemi. Fast and reliable! Pro built, it is dialed in. A folder of documentation is included. Starts right up, runs smooth and cool. You want to scare your passenger? It will do that too!
Same owner 24 years. He and I have talked often, he is proud of this car and likes to share with me what he knows about it.

EXTERIOR: Very straight, solid body. It fits real nice. Repainted Plum Crazy Purple over 20 years ago and it still looks great! The metal flake is laid out evenly and has a smooth glossy finish. No vinyl top and white C-stripes help make it a stunning looker. Overall the chrome and trim is very nice. Weatherstrips and seals are very good. Windshield was replaced. The 15x8 Cragars sparkle like new. The fatter tires in back give it that tough stance.

INTERIOR: It is exceptional inside this car. Professionally restored steering wheel. Rebuilt steering column, replaced bearings and turn signal switch. The dash bezels, wood grain and dash pad were replaced. The gauges were professionally restored, tach was upgraded with modern internals, clock was converted to quartz. The heater core and blower motor was replaced. The seats are reupholstered, door panels replaced, headliner was replaced. Good carpet with embroidered Super Bee mats. There is sound deadener under the carpet and above headliner. Complete set of original seatbelts. Interior lights work. I think the best part is that pistol grip shifter sticking out of the floor!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: NASCAR 426 Hemi block and crank from Petty's garage. It has wired freeze plugs. The motor was professionally rebuilt by a guy that races Hemis at an NHRA level. It Is producing about 500 hp. The owner said he has never had to touch the carbs since they were built. It always started, idled and accelerated great. We have had the same experience. He said he has taken it on 150 mile trips and considered driving it on vacation once. It has correct components- manifolds, carbs, valve covers etc. The Ram Charger is complete and original to this car. It also features power steering, trust me you are going to appreciate having that Hood! The engine bay is clean and painted nicely. It is complete- washer bottle hooked up, has a horn, battery is secured, hinges were rebuilt. The vin on the core support matches the car. The original fender tag is still attached.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very rare to have it's original trunk floor, it's solid with some pitting. The compartment is painted purple, under the trunk lid is glossy. The weatherstrip and mat were replaced. It has complete spare and jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it is fresh, upgraded high torque starter. The 4-speed was rebuilt with HD Hemi internals. The driveshaft is balanced. Rebuilt 8 3/4 rear with 3.55 Sure Grip gears. The front end was completely rebuilt including the steering box. It has super stock springs and shocks front and back. Great sounding exhaust with crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and chrome tips. It has disc brakes in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Fuel system was replaced. The floors and frame rails are clean original metal. There are frame connectors welded in.

This Super Bee has integrity. It's not a resale special. The owner had a lot of pride and took excellent care of it. Yes it looks hot, it is fast as hell, but it also functions great. Someone will be able to really enjoy this car!
