Everybody Breathes
This is a an old SD video I originally put together in 2003, but have recently added a few extra shots of Matt that I wanted to include. We also recently made some improvements to the audio, with the very talented Mike Kemp, as Matt was intending to include the song in his MOOp book and music project, which will hopefully be completed in the future.
I originally worked on this song with Matt in 1985, on an old cassette portastudio. It was always a favourite of mine and I subsequently reminded him of it during a session together some time around the Millennium. I had only intended to recording a guide vocal looking for some alternative melodies, but Matt suggested it would be fun to make it a duet.
I always loved this song, and will always be proud to be a part of, the lyrics are all pure Matt!
Chris Bell (fellow Thompson Twin) is on drums in the video making up the band SNAIL, and the drums on the actual recording were played by Matt’s close friend John Reynolds.
