Padmanabham Restaurant in Delhi -Traditional South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant Review

In this video we share our experience of unlimited breakfast & bhojanam thali at affordable Traditional South Indian Restaurant in Delhi -Padmanabham Restaurant , Kailash Colony.

We had South Indian breakfast thali @Rs. 299/- which is unlimited, served between 8am to 11am all 7 days of the week .

On welcome, we were served Rasam which was very tangy & flavourful followed by thali which includes Dosa + Idli + Vada + Uttapam + Upma + pappadum + sambhar + three chutneys ( coconut , pudina and red chutney ) + 1 filter coffee.
Except coffee, serving is unlimited.

There is vast variety of vegetarian South Indian cuisine, so we decided to have lunch also at Padmanabham Restaurant , so could share with you as reference. We took the following -

1. Chettinadu Paneer -Parotta -It is one of the authentic dishes of Tamil Nadu. It is semi gravy cottage cheese cooked in spicy flavorful freshly in house chettinad masala and served with 2 malabar parottas.
Parottas are very soft , flaky ,lacchedaar and loved the parottas and the sabzi has strong flavor of Black peppercorn, bit spicy and paneer was soft.
Cost - Rs. 424+ taxes

2. Bhojanam Thali - It is Traditional Unlimited South Indian meal served on banana leaf & is served between 12.30 to 4pm. It includes-Papaddum, banana, banana chips, 4 varieties of vegetables, sambhar, curd, rasam, 2 poori, neer more & payasam in dessert.
Neer more is curry leaf spiced buttermilk , has ginger, green chilly and is very cool and refreshing.
Daily the menu is changed of Bhojanam Thali based on four southern states of India- Tamil Nadu + Andhra + Kerala + Karnataka.
Rs. 459 +taxes

You get all the tastes- Sweet + Salty + Sour & Spicy !

Talking about the ambience - it is very pleasant , nice & with the soothing music was playing giving full feel of South India.
The interiors are inspired by Meenakshi Temple of Madurai in Tamilnadu & Padmanbhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum and you get to see beautiful artworks on the walls & also Balaji Statue.
