Cross Member Families for SBIM #1 - Basics

This is a short introduction to the capabilities of the SOFiSTiK Bridge + Infrastructure Modeler Cross Member command. Cross Member allows you to place alignment based volumetric elements in an interval in between two placements. Even longitudinal variations can be considered, by using multiple adaptive points as references. You can also use the command to incorporate variables, as well as secondary axes parametrization into the placed elements.
The following videos guide you through the process of creating advanced parametric cross-member families (beams and tunnel segments) in Revit using SOFiSTiK SBIM. The tutorials cover three main use cases:
Basic cross beams with variable widths
Diagonal beams with height and angle variations
Tunnel segments with complex parametric cut-offs and rotations
