Back in 2002, we built something wild up in Rovaniemi, Finland — a full-size hardcore pool ramp with real transitions and attitude.
Built by Anssi Korpela and Mikko Rajakangas, this monster measured 19 meters wide and covered around 140 square meters of pure plywood.
No CNCs, no sponsors — just sweat, hammers, and passion for skating.
This is a look back at one of Finland’s rawest DIY builds — a true piece of northern skate history.
