The plaintiff and defendant have been friends for over 35 years. The plaintiff says he loaned the defendant money because he fell on hard times. He co-signed on the defendant’s rent bill but has not been paid back, so he’s suing for a collections bill. The defendant argues the plaintiff came over one day and the two got into an argument, which caused the defendant to get arrested, so he’s countersuing.
