In this video, we’re going to explore how you can simplify your business accounting with Zeller’s new Xero bank feeds integration.
To get started, log in to your Zeller Dashboard and click to expand Settings, then click Connections.
From here, you’ll see the new Xero Bank Feeds Integration connection. To begin linking this connection to your Zeller account, click the plus button. Once you’ve read the connection disclaimer, click the checkbox to agree, and click the blue Connect button.
You’ll then be taken to Xero’s authentication page - if you’re already signed in to Xero, then this next step is a bit easier. If not, you’ll be prompted to log in using your Xero credentials.
Once you’re signed in, you’ll need to allow Zeller access to your Xero organisation — so that data can flow from your Zeller account into Xero.
Click allow access, and you’ll be taken back to your Zeller Dashboard so you can select which Xero organisation you’d like to integrate with Zeller. Select your organisation and click Next.
Now, you need to choose which Zeller transaction accounts to share with Xero. You can select up to 50 Zeller transaction accounts by clicking these checkboxes, or select all by clicking this top box. In this case, I’m going to select the Zeller Account Red.
And that’s it! Your Zeller account is now linked to your Xero account — ready for transactions to automatically flow from Zeller to Xero. Let’s quickly look at how this account will appear in Xero.
As you can see, a bank account has been created in Xero with the same name: Zeller Account Red. From here, you can reconcile your items and match, create, transfer and discuss individual line items from this bank feed in Xero. Let’s jump back to the Zeller Dashboard.
If you ever decide to disconnect your account from Xero, simply click on the plus button, scroll to the bottom of your account list and click Remove Connection. This will stop all Zeller data from being automatically synced to Xero, but it won’t delete your bank account from Xero.
