The Caravaggio Trail is a pilgrimage route of approximately 200 km in the Serra Gaúcha (RS) that connects the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Caravaggio in Canela to the sanctuaries of Farroupilha, passing through cities such as Gramado and Nova Petrópolis. It is ideal for walking or cycling, promoting faith, nature, and culture, and is marked by yellow arrows (Canela-Farroupilha) and blue arrows (Farroupilha-Canela).
Main characteristics:
Length: Approximately 200 km.
Cities: Canela, Gramado, Nova Petrópolis, Caxias do Sul, and Farroupilha.
Directions: Can be traveled from Canela to Farroupilha (yellow arrows) or vice versa (blue arrows).
Duration: On average, it takes about 10 days to complete on foot, divided into 10 sections.
Self-guided: It has signage and offers a "passport" to stamp and obtain a certificate of completion.
