In today’s video we start on one of my many spring / summer projects on my list... painting my potting bench! This is step one for setting up my little gardening nook on our screened porch. Hopefully you enjoy this cozy little spring weekend in my life!

My next video I will be planting my cut flowers, setting up the potting bench, and another fun little garden project ;)

Easy recipe for vanilla syrup:
Heat 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar on medium-high heat, until simmering (stir occasionally). Once the liquid is clear, it means the sugar has dissolved and you are ready to add in your vanilla! This could be 1/2 Tablespoon of vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste. I used vanilla extract this time around! Once cooled, you can add it to a mason jar to store in the fridge for ~2 weeks or so!
