The U.S.–Ukraine minerals partnership has become a critical pillar of Kyiv’s economic recovery strategy and Washington’s broader security agenda. Ukraine is home to some of Europe’s largest reserves of titanium, lithium, graphite, and uranium. In April 2025, the two governments launched a joint Reconstruction Investment Fund to mobilize capital for mining and infrastructure projects, signaling a long-term commitment to unlocking Ukraine’s resource potential.
