Welcome to Moody Blooms. In this video I will be giving you a tour of the Crowne Plaza's Atrium in Copenhagen Towers which is completely unique in Denmark. There are over 2900 plants located in the atrium and while I cannot cover them all, I will do my best to help identify as many plants as I can.

If you are thinking of planning a trip to Copenhagen I strongly suggest you go. My son and I completely fell in love with its charm and beauty. I could totally see myself living there and I already picked out right where I am going to live. Right in this building with grass covered roofs.

And Seeing the city by bike was so much fun and I highly recommend it. It is such a bicycle friendly place.

The atrium is over 15,000 square feet (1400 sq meters) with a glass roof that helps provide the ideal climate for the trees all year round. It also gives guests the experience of natural greenery even during the cold Danish winter.
More than 2,900 plants and 90 different species have been used in the atrium. It is divided into 44 plant species smaller than 3 feet (100 cm) and 47 plant species larger than 3 feet (100 cm). The tallest trees are 26 feet (8 meters) high, and there are over 50 trees taller than 10 feet (3 meters).
Among the 2,900 plants there is a whole forest of air-purifying and noise-absorbing properties. The plants have the quality of absorbing and neutralizing unhealthy particles in the air, while at the same time converting CO2 into oxygen. This results in a much better indoor climate, which many studies show leads to lower absenteeism due to illness, reduced fatigue and fewer headaches among employees and visitors.
