Katie has decided to kick off a January health reset and asked for a bit of family support, so Bob and JoJo decided to surprise her with a healthy food shop. The challenge was simple but tough… could we buy a healthy January food haul for just £50?

We headed to Lidl with a strict budget, trying to find food that’s nutritious, tasty and affordable, without blowing the money. With food prices rising, we wanted to see if eating healthier on a budget is actually realistic for everyday families.

In this video, you’ll see exactly what we bought, how far £50 really goes, and whether this healthy haul is something Katie would actually enjoy and stick to.
