Dominika Kulczyk on standing with Ukraine: “a human obligation”

Dominika Kulczyk says her decision to help Ukraine came straight from the heart, driven by a sense of human decency, solidarity, and responsibility as a Polish citizen, mother, and business leader. She believes Poles – especially entrepreneurs – have a moral duty to stand by their Ukrainian neighbors, calling the effort an “energy bridge” between people and countries. Through her foundation, she has worked closely with trusted partners who have long supported Ukraine, even before the war began.

Early on, the foundation focused on welcoming Ukrainian women and children, helping them find safety, stability, and a sense of dignity in Poland. This included practical support such as phones, scholarships, and seed funding so Ukrainian women could start small businesses and become financially independent. Kulczyk stresses that helping Ukraine stay warm and supported isn’t just charity – but a way of protecting Europe’s shared future and values.
