In this video, we're going to be checking out the trail network of La Foret de L'Abbaye Val-Notre Dame. This is a relatively new venue which opened only a few years ago. In that short time, there has been alot of quality work put into the trail center, with more to come. From the video's I watched on-line, I didn't have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised to found out how good it actual was. L'Abbaye Val-Notre Dame is refuge for monks, the same group that runs the Abbaye in Oka Qc. The surrounding forest is fittingly serene and magical, it has tons of character, with old growth tree's, streams, fern valleys and open meadows. I was also surprised at the amount of elevation change as the mountains offer ~ 250ft delta's.

Bike Ninja Score:
La Pinède:
8/10
A beginner green level trail with good flow and character, it winds, climbs and descents through old growth and pine forest sections. A great warm up trail for everyone.
Benedictine (Keystone):
8.5/10
An intermediate trail that starts out with a climb to the halfway point and then transitions into a nice long flowy downhill with switchbacks and steeper sections. A really beautiful trail.
Les Caps (Keystone):
7.5/10
This is the main trail here, an intermediate trail that starts out with a fairly aggressive climb up to the top of one of the larger mountain peaks (with a lookout) and then has a technical descent back down.
Indie Pop (Keystone)
7.8/10
An intermediate level jump line good for all skill levels, with berms, small table tops and a lot of rollers, it offers a nice reward after climbing les caps.
Bermude
7.6/10
This is a spicy intermediate trail with some technical climbing sections and steep punchy downhills. A fun dynamic trail that will keep you on your toes.
Bionic
8/10
This is a challenging black diamond descent, whether you're traversing off camber sections, steep and tight switch backs or bombing the downhills, this trail super fun but not for the faint of heart.
