Child Help Line is a free national outreach telephone service operated 24 hours and seven days a week with free helpline number 1098 for the protection and support of children in trouble 0-18 years. In Haridwar, Childhelp Line program implemented by Adarsh Yuva Samiti (AYUS) since 2015. Since its partnership with CHILDLINE India Foundation AYUS team successfully rescued/ Helped 4250 children in distress through various interventions like medical aids, shelter support, recovering lost children and handing them over to their parents, protecting children from abuse, emotional support etc.
At Childline, the process starts with a call and continues till the child has rescue from the situation. We work under a specific process has five steps given below:
