Welcome to another episode of Open House NYC! Join host Sara Gore as we tour a series of homes that not only elevate everyday living but also reflect the soul of their neighborhoods—beginning in the West Village, where architect Isay Weinfeld brings European refinement to a sun-drenched penthouse at the crossroads of Chelsea. This full-floor residence spans over 3,600 square feet and pairs New York’s edge with effortless elegance. From the sweeping great room views to the rooftop terrace and spa-like primary suite, this home is a tranquil retreat in the heart of downtown NYC.
Next, we join Noble Black for a tour of one of Greenwich Village’s most storied townhouses: 20 East 10th Street in New York City. Once owned by Sarah Jessica Parker, this 1860s gem has been meticulously reimagined into a modern-day showpiece. With five floors, seven fireplaces, and a lush garden oasis, this 7912 sq-ft home blends classic bones with luxe design. Whether you're soaking in the marble-clad bath or entertaining beside 13-foot ceilings and original moldings, it’s pure NYC glamour.
Then it’s off to NoMad, where designer Tina Ramchandani unveils a sophisticated pied-à-terre crafted for serenity and style. Neutral tones, jewel-toned accents, and custom textures come together to highlight breathtaking city views. From the cozy home office to the plum-hued primary bedroom retreat, every detail invites sophistication and tranquility.
Out west, we land in Culver City, Los Angeles, inside the cheerful home of Sweet Loren’s founder, Lauren Castle. This bright and functional family space celebrates texture, personality, and play. With double kitchen islands perfect for baking her scrumptious cookie dough concoctions—and a unicorn-themed kids' room for good measure—this lovely abode is built for joy, creativity, and connection.
Back in Greenwich Village, designer Christopher Noto shows us around his stunning live-work apartment. A layered and personal space, this residence serves as both sanctuary and studio. With its moody palette, sculptural pieces, and a design philosophy rooted in thoughtful experimentation, this space exemplifies refined and effortless urban living.
We end the episode with real-estate agent Christopher Pomeroy in downtown Los Angeles at a property unlike any other: a former electric substation transformed into an architectural showstopper. Located in the heart of the Brewery Arts District 698 Moulton Avenue , this live-work compound is equal parts industrial gallery and private retreat. Soaring ceilings, floating towers, repurposed steel, and sweeping skyline views come together to transform this home, redefining it with a contemporary and artistic vision.
