Shangri-la is described as a village lost in the valleys of the Himalayan mountains, its inhabitants experience existential fulfillment, living in perfect harmony with each other and nature, health, and spiritual bliss

We spent months developing this model with Pedro Thomas, we wanted to make an extended version that would allow ergonomic playing, so Pedro came up with the idea of ​​the high notes on the bottom shell being in the central region, facilitating access and allowing the use of more percussive techniques on these notes

Shangri-la is strongly inspired by the F# Nordlys scale, created by Amarok and ‪@maniksoundsculptures‬​⁠ for whom we have immense admiration and respect for this tremendous contribution to the community
