EastEnders 2016 kicks off with an epic final battle between brothers Mick and Dean as their feud finally ends since Dean raped Linda, Dean punches Mick and continues to drown him, but Mick fights back and knocks him out cold, rescuing Shirley, Mick than has a change of heart and decides to rescue Dean also, Dean is then arrested and taken away by the police, giving Mick and Linda the happy ending they wished for.
