Inside The Harry Potter House

Ever wonder what was really inside the real Picket Post Close house that is A.K.A. #4 Privet Drive? The real house is a lot different than the movies. The movies were just a bunch of sets and the real house is too small to fit it all in. Warner Bros studios didn't accurately display the floor plan. I got the measurements of the quadriplex from Google Earth and the model was built in Sketchup. There were a lot of real estate pictures from when the unit was for sale a few years back. I also saw a video of a real estate agent walking down the front hall and opening the closet door under the stairs. That's how come I could give you a very detailed and an accurate interior. It probably doesn't get more accurate than this. This is the true floor plan of the house. The house's kitchen was surprisingly in front and then the upper floor has 3 bedrooms and couple of bathrooms. There's also an attic but that's not shown in the video. You get an in depth tour. While there's no audio in this video, the rooms are self explanatory. The staircase has a closet but it's different than what it looks like in the film. This may be a disappointment to some people but it may inspire others, I don't know. It's just a small townhouse, to be honest and the model was made as closely to the actual building as possible. I hope you enjoy it. The Harry Potter house has always intrigued me. Either way, it's still Uncle Dursley's house to me.
