DIY SFX ON A BUDGET! Scar Wax, Blood, Textured Skin, etc!

Do you or somebody you know need help with Halloween SFX? I'm here to help! Everything that I used is something you guys definitely have at home and you don't need to go out and buy. Super budget friendly!

Scar and Nose Wax 00:27
1 teaspoon vaseline
3 teaspoon of flour or baby powder
mix until it looks dusty and dry, then you can mold it to the skin. if you need extra adhesion, feel free to use eyelash glue.

Textured Skin/Cut Skin 03:20
glitter or lash glue
1 ply of tissue
apply the glue to any part of the skin and follow it up with the 1 ply tissue, continue to layer up to get the desired thickness, then you can go ahead and make any slits, cuts or textures once the tissue and glue has completely dried (you can use tweezers for this)

Face/Body Paint 05:30
any color liquid lipstick
light foundation
for each pump of foundation use 3-5 dips of liquid lipstick, mix until the desired color and apply like regular foundation.

How to shade bruises 07:58
start with a foundation base (to make it last longer) then follow it up with black shadow as a base, to make it look irritated add red or maroon, for the bruising effect add dark blue or navy, and to make it look realistic add some yellow. Blood is optional, but you can always use a liquid lipstick for this because it will dry matte, but the color will be vibrant.

Fake blood 10:05
any red liquid lipstick
facial oil
Depending on how rich the color blood you want, apply more red liquid lipstick than oil. For the most realistic look, use a blackened maroon shade.
