Lovebird Fischers and Lovebird Personata: September 2023

These are some of our Fischer lovebirds and Personata lovebirds. We still have several fischers and other personata, which are in the breeding process. We have quite a lot of other lovebirds too, such as euwing, opaline, and also parblue, pale fallow or usually abbreviated as pf, albino, lutino... Well, that's it. I myself am still confused about where the boundaries between the genes for these colors are. Of course, the person who seems to be able to determine that is a veterinarian or biologist :D

In September 2023, the weather is still hot here. Lovebirds bathe more often, drink more often and like vegetables that contain lots of water. One thing we need to pay attention to during the summer is keeping our lovebirds well hydrated. And it's not a difficult thing. We still have the advantage of living in a part of the world where there is only summer and only rainy season. We've never felt what it's like to be with lovebirds in winter...
