The longer I live abroad the more convinced that we as Jamaicans don't talk about our unique values and qualities as much as we should 💜 As a Chinese Jamaican, I'm super proud to share my heritage, and can see how being Jamaican has contributed to so many positive aspects of who I am today.

I’m a racially ambiguous, non-binary, neurodivergent person from small island Jamaica, living with Lupus, an invisible illness, abroad in Sweden. One can say I’m the definition of [grey area], and as such, it’s taken me a long time to create belonging inside of my heart, to feel safe to be who I am and to love that person in the process.
I hope to inspire others to embrace themselves more and create lives they’re in love with ♡
