For our final episode of 2010 before the Holiday Break, Robert 'Maddog' Kurtzman sits down for a discussion about his past. From his childhood checking out the late-night horror hosts and 70's genre films; to his early days in Hollywood in the 1980's working with the likes of John Carl Buechler and Kevin Yagher; to his work at Mark Shostrom's shop with Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger (with whom he'd form K.N.B. EFX GROUP). Kurtzman goes on to discuss his relationships with genre filmmakers, the 10-year journey of bringing his treatment for FROM DUSK TILL DAWN to the big screen; his directorial turns on WISHMASTER and THE DEMOLITIONIST; and the 2003 formation of PRECINCT 13 ENTERTAINMENT and the CREATURE CORPS, bringing his family and friends back to Ohio.
With 2010 wrapping up and fresh off films like JINN and HOSTEL 3 (along with a couple of recently-wrapped but not-yet-announced projects), 2011 is shaping up to be a huge year for Robert Kurtzman's Creature Corps.
