A desert oasis with waterfalls, millions of years old whale bone fossils, rare Middle Kingdom Egyptian Temples, ruined cities forgotten in the sand, and some of Egypt's oldest pyramids. With almost no tourists in sight?! Sign me up. Welcome to the Fayoum Oasis, just 2 hours drive southwest from Cairo out in the Western Desert of Egypt. Come with me as I ride my motorcycle from Cairo to explore this oasis and witness all the incredible history and beautiful landscapes one can find here. Yalla!
