It was a night to remember for jazz fans and Peanuts lovers alike. On December 23, 2023, the Eric Byrd Trio returned to Frederick, Maryland, to perform their acclaimed rendition of the classic soundtrack “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by Vince Guaraldi. The gig was nothing short of magical, as the trio delivered a stunning performance that captivated the sold-out crowd of a thousand at the Weinberg Center theater. It was the final show of their Christmas series, and they clearly saved the best for last. The audience was treated to a double dose of nostalgia, as before the Eric Byrd Trio's performance, the charming Snoopy Christmas movie was projected on a giant screen.
