Reconsider Remote Living - Roads & Driveways Are SOOO EXPENSIVE!

My forest road failed costing me $1000's to repair. Before you consider living on a remote property, consider the high cost of building and maintaining roads and driveways. In an urban area, the cost of roads is usually shared by the community. If you have a remote property, the cost is often all on you. Jeramy Reber form the YouTube channel Jeramy Reber Pure Dirt comes to help me fix my failed road. We use his Kubota KX 040 4 Excavator and my Caterpillar D6C Dozer to build a road that will be durable and last. Or at least I hope it will. Because I am investing a whole lot of money into this road. Mostly from the cost of the rock we will be putting on it. We will be repairing and putting rock on 1400 feet of road. That is a whole lot of rock. I will be the owner of a whole lot of rock. Do you have any idea how many rocks it takes to rock 1400 feet of road? It takes more rocks than I can count. I can count pretty high, but I can't count that high. You would have to be pretty much a genius to count that many rocks.
