The end comes near! It’s time for the six remaining players to return for the Final Day of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event at Casino Barcelona. From a field of 2,045 entries, only half a dozen remain in contention for the €1,436,000 top prize and the desired EPT Main Event trophy.

Play resumes with blinds at 125,000/250,000 and a 250,000 big blind ante. Romania’s Sebastian Ionita leads the way with 14,725,000 after bagging the chip lead on Day 6, while France’s Thomas Eychenne follows close behind with 11,375,000. In the middle of the pack sit Colombia’s Julian Pineda Lozano (9,700,000) and Italy’s Umberto Zaffagnini (9,525,000), while Sweden’s Anton Suarez (8,400,000) and Poland’s Tomasz Brzezinski (7,625,000) round out the lineup.

Each player is guaranteed €291,800 but will have their sights set on the seven-figure first prize that has defined careers on the European Poker Tour.
