EPISODE #01 || THE MYSTERIOUS LETTER

The cold January wind whipped through the streets, carrying the stench of desperation. Adam huddled in his worn jacket, eyes scanning the rows of shuttered storefronts. Another day, another rejection letter. His savings were dwindling, and the job market seemed to have forgotten him.
As he trudged up the stairs to his small apartment, a faint rustling in the mailbox caught his attention. He pulled out a cream-colored envelope, his name scribbled in hasty handwriting. No return address. Adam's curiosity piqued, he tore open the envelope and unfolded the letter. The words danced on the page:
"Meet me at the old oak tree in Riverview Park at midnight. Come alone."
A shiver coursed down Adam's spine. Who could be summoning him to a clandestine meeting? And why?
