“A Brand New Day” was written by Luther Vandross and produced by Quincy Jones and Tom Bahler. It was first used in the musical “The Wiz”, based on the book “The Wizard Of Oz”. In 1978, the song was sung in the film “The Wiz” by Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Nipsey Russell and Ted Ross. Frank Bernaerts made a dynamic arrangement of this legendary song.
