Backed by Volkswagen Group, Scout is building a $2B plant in South Carolina, creating 8,000 jobs and producing rugged, authentic range-extended EVs — combining 150 miles electric, 500 miles total range, and V8-level power.
Keogh emphasized craftsmanship, community, and the revitalization of U.S. industry, joined by Governor Henry McMaster, who praised South Carolina’s skilled workforce and manufacturing spirit. Together, they championed a new era of American-made innovation.
