In this video we solve the "bent front knee" problem and show you how to use the ground for leverage and power ALL WITH THE SAME DRILL!!!

When the front knee bends, the head drops, when the head drops the eyes drop. This, in our head, makes the ball rise in our vision and we then prime ourselves for hitting the bottom half of the ball or missing it all together.

Also, with a bent front knee, if we don make contact, the strike will be severely softened because our base isn't solid.

For advance players looking to get and edge and pick up bat speed, this drill is perfect for teaching you how to feel and leverage the ground to supply even more speed into the bat.

The drill is very simple as to where you stride with an exaggerated bent front knee and straighten the leg as the hands go forward and swing the bat.

This does the opposite for guys struggling with a bent front knee at contact, where you are forced to straighten the leg versus bending it through the hitting area.

For advance guys, this drill gives you a definite way to learn how to time the force from the ground and transform it into substantial bat speed.
