Found a used and unloved MCD RRV4 Remote Control car for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Bought it blind, as in not seen running or electrics connected.
In this video we see if it was a deal or bust.
I looked at the rear diff and found the issue, show the repair and take it for a drive.
well... the clutch shoe lining separated from the clutch in less than 5mins running, and the diff pinion bearings failed dramatically.
so I paid £320 for this MCD rrv4 and sos far an additional....
£1.15 on 4xbolts and 2xnuts (had to drill out two bolts with the nuts from under the chassis / other two were for the diff case)
£4 on two bearings
I already had a clutch but retail aprox £14.99
and I changed the futaba servo for a high torque MG which retails for aprox £12
