The newly-formed Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans structure has committed to the principles of unity, accountability, transparency and good governance. A six-man interim committee will serve for two years in the lead-up to an elective conference. It follows the disbandment of the MKMVA and Military Veterans Council, to form one structure called Umkhonto we Sizwe Liberation War Veterans.
