Hi, and welcome to Serenity Cove Crafts. My name is Linda, and today we will be making this all too adorable Gingerbread Gumdrop Christmas Cow.
For this project, you will need a 22 pin, and a 46 or 48 pin circular knitting machine. I use a small amount of hot glue to secure the eyes.
Here are the row counts for this little guy:
HEAD/BODY: 46/48 pin machine
-Brown yarn, knit 100 rows
SNOUT/NOSE: 22 pin machine
-Brown yarn, knit 14 rows
EARS (make 2): 22 pin machine
-brown yarn, knit 12 rows
GUMDROP HORNS: 22 pin machine
Make 1 red, and 1 green.
-red yarn, knit 6 rows
-green yarn, knit 6 rows
ICING (make 2): 46/48 pin machine
-white yarn, knit 25 rows
ARMS AND LEGS (make 4 total): 22 pin machine
-brown yarn, knit 4 rows
-change to white yarn, knit 3 rows
-change back to brown yarn, knit 23 rows
GUMDROP BUTTONS (make 3 total): 22 pin machine
I made 2 green, and 1 red.
-cast on with either red or green, knit 4 rows, cast off
TAIL: 22 pin machine
-brown yarn, knit 20 rows
