UB40's self penned 1982 single release of "I Won't Close My Eyes" on 12 inch vinyl AKA Disco 45. Lyrics written during the UK's high unemployment of the late 1970's and early 80's. Synthesised drums sounds and gated reverb were used to great effect on this record. The B side was Folitician. Published by New Claims/ATV. Written by UB40. Produced by UB40 and Ray "Pablo" Falconer on the DEP International record label. All the music and pictures were obtained on the internet to make this reggae tribute collage. Signing off!!
