This webinar includes an introduction to new developments in openLCA 1.10.2. including a detailed presentation of the “fast network calculation”, which will be called “direct calculation” in future versions and the possibility of downloading additional libraries to achieve faster calculations. Also, we introduce major changes for the ecoinvent 3.6. database in openLCA, which includes a different waste modelling approach following the material flow logic. In a live demonstration, we show how to switch between the applied waste modelling approaches and how you can migrate models that were developed with previous ecoinvent versions to ecoinvent 3.6. and vice versa.
