The fifth track of the concept album Chronicles of Despair, Visions is an intense and haunting journey into the dark realm of sleep paralysis, inspired by real experiences lived by the vocalist. The song confronts, with raw honesty, that suspended moment between sleep and wakefulness where the body is paralyzed and the mind becomes trapped in vivid nightmares, whispered voices, shadowy presences, and deep-rooted fears.
Within the album’s narrative, Visions represents the phase in which external chaos and anger seep inward, shaping a psychological terror that offers no rest—even in sleep. The “visions” described in the lyrics are a distorted reflection of a world plagued by war, manipulation, and insecurity—core themes throughout the record.

From there, the album expands into a collective dimension with “Madness”, a denunciation of nuclear war insanity, and “Shut The Fuck Up”, a rebellious track targeting disinformation and the dominance of media power.
“Violent Fist” gives voice to the blind rage that fuels conflict, while “Visions” pulls the listener into the haunting realm of sleep paralysis—a metaphor for the unconscious fears triggered by global tension.
