UP 1448 LRR73 Local Pick Up Cars, Orange Grove Ave. Railroad Crossing, Sacramento CA

Overheard the 73 job was coming here after leaving Elk Grove and was lucky enough to make it up here due to them having to wait on a coal train coming out of Roseville before coming this way to get a few more videos of the Planehaven Industrial Lead Spurs getting worked again. In this video you will also here a separate trains Horn which was Amtrak #5 California Zephyr going by behind me on the Martinez Sub main line. Planehaven wasn't my original plan but F St was but I changed it because of how late the LRR73 was out meaning the LRR45 Folsom Turn was going to be running late also coming out at night so I changed my mind on filming them and just made it here to catch the 73 working here instead. The LRR73 and LRR45 Share the same power. It was cool seeing a triple locomotive header on the 73 local also which carried onto the 45 of course at night. I find it funny a little that almost a year ago when I last filmed Planehaven the locomotives UP 1419 & 1448 were paired with eachother here and nearly a year later when I come back the two locomotives find there way back onto both being on the same train together since then with the addition of UP 1347. This crossing is an SPRR 1960s signal build install with changes to a bell on the right signal while everything else is still original to date.
