In today’s video, I start installing a transmission in my 2014 Ford Escape AWD using the 6F35 automatic transmission. This is Part 1 of a full DIY transmission install series, where I walk through the real challenges, mistakes, and steps involved in getting this Escape back on the road.
This applies to most Ford Escapes with the 1.6L or 2.0L EcoBoost that use the 6F35 transmission. No shortcuts, no fluff — just a real home-garage repair on a budget project car.
