Daft Punk's HORRENDOUS AI Upscaled Remaster!

If you call something a remaster, at least actually show that it is a remaster. The Daft Punk anime music video called Interstella 555 will receive a "remaster," and I put that on quotations because the person who is in charge of this "remaster" just grabbed the original video, put it through some AI upscaling software, and be done with it.

The results are horrendous. It looks like it just smushes everything together and it produces this horrendously undetailed image that looks like cement. Look at this lack of detail. She's basically made faceless.

At times, it doesn't look that bad, but that's because the original has enough details for the AI to work on. The less details that the AI can work on, the worse it will perform, and this looks ugly.

What we expected from a remaster of an anime is a proper frame-by-frame redraw of the whole thing and recreating the effects so that it's as faithful as possible to the original. Slapping AI upscaling on it without checking the results is utterly lazy.
