50+ Species of Marsupial (Organised by Family)

Marsupials are one of the most fascinating groups of animals and vary greatly in size and appearance with 7 orders, 19 families and over 300 species. Perhaps most interestingly, they differ from other mammals by their reproductive strategy; young are born premature and make their way to a pouch called a marsupium where they are further nourished by milk.
