Learn English While Packing | Intermediate Lesson

In this lesson, you’ll practice English vocabulary for packing and traveling while learning with comprehensible input. Perfect for intermediate English learners who want to build vocabulary and confidence.

We will use these words in simple ways, so you can understand easily:

🧳 Vocabulary List

Blind – when you cannot see well
Example: “I am blind , so i need glasses.”

Durable – something strong, that lasts a long time.
Example: “This suitcase is durable and won’t break.”

Cuff – the end part of a sleeve on a shirt, or the end of pant legs.
Example: “His shirt cuff was dirty.”

Case – a container for things.
Example: “I put my glasses in their case.”

Fold – to bend something neatly.
Example: “She folds her clothes before packing.”

Suitcase – a bag for travel.
Example: “My suitcase is full of clothes.”

Prescription (for glasses) – written instructions from a doctor for glasses or medicine.
Example: “I need my prescription to buy new glasses.”

Mask – something you wear to cover your face.
Example: “He wore a mask on the airplane.”

Compartment – a small section in a bag or space.
Example: “I put my passport in the suitcase compartment.”

Cable – a wire that connects devices.
Example: “Don’t forget your phone cable.”

Toiletries – personal care items (like soap, toothbrush, shampoo).
Example: “I packed my toiletries in a small bag.”

Zipper – a device used to close clothes or bags.
Example: “The zipper on my jacket is broken.”

Collar (shirt) – the part of a shirt around the neck.
Example: “He fixed the collar of his shirt.”
