Senza Nome in Bologna is the bar in Italy owned and managed by four Deaf people. Yes it's Deaf bar!!

The bar was born in 2012 originally by the brainchild of two Deaf people, Alfonso Marrazzo and Sara Longhi, with the intention of promoting the Italian Sign Language. In the duration of the business growth was quite difficult, but they made it through. Now, countless of both Deaf and hearing customers are flowing through their business and these customers know this bar by heart as of right now.

They now have 8 deaf employees, 2 hearings (one hearing knows sign, one hearing has been newly hired and is learning as required by the management).

Plus, they do have a draft beer that is brewed by a Deaf owner, and they hope to collect more beer brewed by Deaf owners from all over the world. If you happen to know anything or anyone about other microbreweries owned by Deaf people from all of the world, be sure to let me know!

Also, they plan to expand more later and they might even set up one in the United States later. When time is right for them. — I hope for sooner!

Besides, all that they do offer ISL workshops. Awesome, isn't it?
